A Spectacular Showcase of Dance, Music, Debates, and Art!
The third day of the 38th AIU North-West Zone Youth Festival 2025 was hosted at Om Sterling Global University (OSGU), Hisar, where competitions in One act play, Indian classical dance, Western vocal performances, group singing, debates, quizzes, and fine arts transformed the entire atmosphere into a celebration of music, culture, and creativity. Talented students from 23 universities mesmerized the audience with their exceptional performances.
The day’s competitions featured graceful classical dance performances, enchanting melodies in Western and Indian music, vibrant expressions in art and painting, and thought-provoking debates and quizzes. Each competition provided participants with a valuable opportunity to hone their skills and prove themselves on a prestigious platform.

Grand Inaugural Ceremony – 9:00 AM (Main Stage, Open Ground)
The grand inaugural ceremony took place at the Main Stage (Open Ground), where dignitaries, participated university officials, faculty members, Jury members and students gathered to mark the official commencement of the festival.
The ceremony began with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the ignition of creativity, unity, and artistic expression. The lamp was lit by Chief Guest, Special Guests, and OSGU’s top officials, and jury members accompanied by the chanting of Sanskrit mantras, filling the air with an aura of positivity and enlightenment.

A Day of One Act Play, Classical Dance, Musical Extravaganza, Intellectual Debates, and Artistic Creativity
The third day of the 38th AIU North-West Zone Youth Festival 2025 at Om Sterling Global University (OSGU), Hisar was a grand spectacle of dance, music, art, and intellectual discourse. Students from 23 prestigious universities across North-West India showcased their artistic, musical, and debating skills in a fiercely competitive yet celebratory environment.
The day’s events kicked off with the Classical Dance (Indian) competition, where participants mesmerized the audience with their performances in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, and other classical dance forms. The performances beautifully blended expressions, rhythmic footwork, and storytelling, leaving an unforgettable impression on the audience. Universities like Om Sterling Global University, University of Delhi, C.R.S. University, Apeejay Stya University, Ch. Bansilal University, CDLU, Kurukshetra University, Banasthali University, Indira Gandhi University, MDU Rohtak, and MDSU Ajmer brought their finest talent to the stage, receiving well-deserved appreciation.
Music Competitions (Indian, Western)– A Melodic Journey
The Western Vocal (Solo) competition was a delight for music lovers as participants performed pop, jazz, rock, and blues with remarkable vocal control and stage presence. Om Sterling Global University, University of Delhi, C.R.S.U,Jind, Apeejay Stya University, Vivekananda Global University, GJU Hisar, CDLU, Kurukshetra University, Banasthali University, Indira Gandhi University, MDU Rohtak, and MDSU Ajmer delivered outstanding performances, captivating the audience with their melodious voices and harmonious renditions.
Similarly, the Indian Group Song competition featured soulful renditions of patriotic, devotional, and folk songs, creating an enchanting musical experience. Participants from Om Sterling Global University, University of Delhi, C.R.S.University, Apeejay Stya University, Vivekananda Global University, Ch. Bansilal University, GJU Hisar, CDLU, Kurukshetra University, Banasthali University, Indira Gandhi University, MDU Rohtak, and MDSU Ajmer performed with unity and synchronization, making the competition incredibly engaging.
Debate Competition – A Battle of Words and Ideas
The Debate competition was a powerful platform for students to express their thoughts on contemporary social, political, and economic issues. Participants demonstrated strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and persuasive arguments, making the event one of the most intellectually stimulating contests of the day.
Students from Om Sterling Global University, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila University, University of Delhi, C.R.S. University, Apeejay Stya University, Ch. Bansilal University, GJU Hisar, CDLU, Kurukshetra University, Banasthali University, Indira Gandhi University, MDU Rohtak, and MDSU Ajmer took part in this highly competitive event, engaging in thought-provoking discussions and delivering impactful speeches.
The judges praised the participants for their articulation, clarity of thought, and ability to handle counterarguments, making the competition a true test of intellect and communication skills.
Fine Arts Competitions – A Creative Expression of Ideas
The Fine Arts competitions were a visual treat, with students expressing their creativity and imagination through various artistic mediums.
✔On-the-Spot Painting – Participants created stunning paintings depicting themes related to social issues, environmental awareness, and cultural heritage.
✔Clay Modeling – Students crafted intricate sculptures and models, showcasing their artistic finesse and storytelling through sculpture.
✔Installation Art – Teams presented artistic installations that combined creativity and innovation, delivering strong social messages.
Universities including Om Sterling Global University, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila University, University of Delhi, C.R.S. University, Apeejay Stya University, Ch. Bansilal University, GJU Hisar, CDLU, Kurukshetra University, Banasthali University, Indira Gandhi University, MDU Rohtak, and MDSU Ajmer participated in these events, displaying exceptional artistic brilliance.
The vibrant use of colors, symbolic representations, and imaginative concepts made these competitions a highlight of the day, with judges commending the students for their creative storytelling through art.
