Chemistry Laboratory: The purpose of the Chemistry Laboratory component of the course is several-fold. It reinforces the material that students have learned in class and provides a chance to apply their theoretical knowledge practically by performing experiments. The student can learn some important experimental techniques like pH metry, Conductometry, colorimetry, volumetric analysis, gravimetric analysis, etc. that are necessary for the students to become an effective chemist of researcher.
Forensic Science Laboratory: The Forensic Science Laboratory is a dynamic multi-disciplinary area devoted to the ideals of excellence that provides leadership to advance forensic science and its application to the legal system. The objectives of the Laboratory is to promote professionalism, integrity, competency, education, foster interdisciplinary research, embrace new technology, improve practice, nurture young minds and encourage collaboration in the scientific fraternity. The main function of a Forensic Science Laboratory is to provide an unbiased scientific report to the investigating agencies and thus help the judiciary system.
Physics Laboratory: A Physics laboratory aids a student in establishing the relevance of the theory. It brings clarity in the mind of the students regarding the basic concept of the subject. The Physics Laboratory at Om Sterling Global University is well furnished with ample space for students to work freely and equipped with all latest facilities. The department also have a separate computer laboratory for programming and practicals with computer interfacing.
There is a wide range of Physics laboratory equipments from the common ones like magnets, pulleys, pendulums, inclined planes, heat lamps, beakers, lenses, glasses, tuning forks, item scales etc to sophisticated ones like spectroscopes, microscopes, electromagnets, voltammeter, potentiometer, etc.
Biology Lab: In today’s scenario, the significance of microorganisms in our life cannot be overemphasized. However, as a science student in general and a microbiology student in particular, it is very important that the students are exposed to the different vistas of microbiology and microorganisms. Hence, the curriculum is designed in such a way that students comprehend the basic concepts in theory and are able to get a hands-on experience in the laboratory. The students get a real life experience of dealing with various types of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, algae etc., and also conduct experiments pertaining to soil and environmental microbiology, food microbiology, microbial physiology etc.
