OSGU has a large number of facilities for Indoor as well as outdoor sports.
Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. We’ve specially developed a sports environment that matches international standards and gives a truly global experience to all our students. All of which is provided to them on the campus.
Keeping in view the importance of sports is today’s scientific era and its vitality in the shaping of individuals personality and health and Fitness, the university lays considerable emphasis on students participation in various games, sports and field activities. The specious grounds of the university are laid out into play fields for Cricket, Hockey, Football, Basketball, Volleyball & Badminton etc. Facilities have also been provided for Yoga, Weight-lifting & Kabaddi.
Lecturers in physical education and coaches are available for scientific teaching, training and coaching in various games and sports and physical fitness program.
There are multiple sport facilities to keep our students engaged and physically fit.
University sports and physical activity continues to develop and is seen as an important component of the student experience.
University also tries with varying degrees of commitment, to ensure that Wednesday afternoons are free from teaching so that students can take part in sports.
Outdoor and Indoor Sports Facilities: Every student is encouraged to take active part in at least one outdoor activity. Om Sterling Global University has set up facilities/grounds for Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carom, etc., and league matches are encouraged. We are also planning an inter-college sports tournaments to develop a spirit of healthy competition.
Gymnasium: In order to ensure a sound body and mind, students are given special attention on health and fitness. A modern gym, with all the latest gadgets has been set up in the hostel.
While games, sports and athletics directly contribute to physical development of students, other co-curricular activities also indirectly contribute to it. These activities provide a useful channel for the growth and development of the body.
