The fourth day of the 38th AIU North-West Zone Youth Festival 2025 organized at Om Sterling Global University (OSGU) Day 4 of 38th AIU North-West Zone Youth Festival 2025 celebrated enthusiastically at Om Sterling Global University
Hisar. The fourth day of the 38th AIU North-West Zone Youth Festival 2025 organized at Om Sterling Global University (OSGU) organised competitions in short plays, mimicry, folk/tribal dance, Indian light vocal, quiz, rangoli, on the spot photography and mehndi, in which participants from 23 universities mesmerized the audience with their brilliant performances. The day was inaugurated by the chief guest Mr. Ashok Kumar (Chief Judicial Magistrate/Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Hisar). He said that these youth festivals make our youth familiar with Indian culture. He further added that the aim of the Yuva Mahotsav is to promote national unity, communal harmony, brotherhood, courage and goodwill among the youth by showcasing their cultural talent on a common platform. Special guest Prof. Anand Malik (Dean of College CRSU Jind) and Dr. Sukhbir Singh (Assistant Professor, Physical Education, AIIMS College, Rohtak) were also present on the occasion. They said that students should play an important role in Indian culture so that it should be popularized all over the world. Apart from this, famous Kathak artist Shri Tapas ji mesmerized the spectators with his performances.On this occasion the Chancellor of OSGU Dr. Punit Goyal said, “This festival provides a unique platform to the students to express their views through art and culture.” Pro-Chancellor Dr. Poonam Goyal said, “Such events are helpful in enhancing the talent of the students and develop their self-confidence.

The presentations by Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, CRS University, Ch. Bansi Lal University, GJU Hisar, CDLU Sirsa, Kurukshetra University and Banasthali University in the skit competition on the main stage attracted the attention of the audience with satires and humorous topics. They brought out the follies in the society .

In the mimicry competition on the main stage, the participants of Delhi University, Maharishi Markandeshwar University and MDU Rohtak entertained people with their voice and acting skills. In the folk and tribal dance competition on the stage, the presentations of Om Sterling Global University, Ch. Bansi Lal University, Kurukshetra University, MDU Ajmer and other universities were colourful and energetic.
In the Indian Light Vocal Competition held on the main auditorium stage, singers from Apeejay Satya University, Vivekanand Global University and Jai Narayan Vyas University left the audience spellbound with their melodious voices. In the Quiz Competition, GJU Hisar, CDLU, Sirsa and Banasthali University impressed the judges with their reasoning power.”

On the stage of Art and Performance Department, the participants of the universities who came with fine arts like on-the-spot photography, rangoli and mehndi displayed their art. Along with this, Star Night was also organized on the Research Block stage to make the festive occasion more exciting and vibrant . In this Star Night, famous Punjabi singers Hasmat, Sultana, Chander Brar, Parry Sandhu, Simmi Virk, Sohil Khan and Vinder Nathumaajra impressed the participants from different states with their melodious voice. The participants, team managers and jury members from all the universities enjoyed it a lot. Besides, actress Jasmine Bhasin and actor Jay Randhawa and Indian cricketer Mohit Sharma also joined this grand festival to introduce the movie Badnaam.
Vice Chancellor Dr. N.P. Kaushik said, “Culture and art are an integral part of our heritage, and this festival provides a platform to showcase our diversity. Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Singh Chhillar said, “Every participant is taking their art and skill to excellence, which is inspiring.” Academics and students from various places like TERI Kurukshetra, Advanced Institute of Technology and Management Palwal and Delhi College of Technology and Management Faridabad joined to enjoy this grand festival. Organizing Secretary Dr. Rakesh Dhiman said, “Seeing the enthusiasm and dedication of the students in this festival, it is clear that this will be a landmark event for the future.” Now the festival has entered its final phase, and the closing and prize distribution ceremony will be held on 12 February 2025, in which talented winners will be felicitated.
