M.Sc. cardiovascular technology or Master of Science in cardiovascular technology is 2-year postgraduate programme. The programme is designed to train paramedical personnel with core knowledge in clinical cardiovascular medicine and physiology to support clinical cardiovascular procedures, stress testing, electrocardiography, pacemaker analysis, vascular diagnostics, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, heart failure therapeutic support, rhythm management support, preventive patient counseling and cardiac rehabilitation.

Learning of complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that involve use of various equipments computer hardware tools machines and pharmacological agents are part of the programme that enable students to acquire skills for management of various cardiac disorders. MS.c Cardiac Technologists use diagnostic cardiology equipment and monitor resultant data typically in assistance to a physician. During cardiovascular testing a tube is inserted into one of the blood vessels that carries blood into the heart.
