Programme overview
The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) is a future-ready four-year undergraduate programme designed to prepare students for careers in the rapidly evolving digital economy. Aligned with NEP 2020 and industry requirements, the curriculum combines core computer science with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Cloud Computing, MLOps, Cyber Security, and Generative AI. Students develop strong programming, analytical, and problem-solving skills through project-based learning, modern laboratories, internships, hackathons, and industry collaborations. The programme emphasizes responsible AI, software engineering, mathematical foundations, and the development of intelligent systems capable of solving real-world problems. Learners gain exposure to emerging technologies such as Large Language Models, AI Agents, Edge AI, Internet of Things, and intelligent automation while building practical applications using contemporary tools and frameworks. The curriculum also promotes innovation, research, entrepreneurship, communication, leadership, and ethical decision-making to create globally competent professionals. Graduates are equipped to design, develop, deploy, and manage AI-powered solutions across healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, retail, agriculture, smart cities, and other sectors. Eligibility Criteria
Minimum percentage and others criteria for admission will be as per UGC/ Concerned Regulatory Bodies.
Provided below are the criteria that need to be met for the given course.
For National Students
- The Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
- B Tech 2nd year (LEET): Diploma Engineering and Technology OR B.Sc. Degree and 10+2 with Mathematics OR Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
For International Students
- Rule framed by University Grants Commission (UGC) and notified in its website www.ugc.ac.in will be followed for deciding the eligibility and admission of International students to various courses offered in Om Sterling Global University, Hisar.
