Printing and packaging technology is a special branch of engineering which deals with the printing technology and packaging of the content. Packaging engineering is a broad field from design conceptualization to product placement. Our course programme is designed in engineering and technology domain to fulfill the current market requirements and the future needs. Thus in the study programme the student will learn in detail the modern printing technologies, its application knowhow and print as a micro structuring technology, functional printing and printed electronics. Print media offers students an opportunity to explore new areas of research in the graphic communications field. The curriculum focus on establishing quality and efficiencies pertaining to business, technology, and processes in graphic communications. It deals in depth on many different areas, including print, business, color management, web and IT, digital, publishing, imaging, and typography. The Engineering course is designed to cover all the aspects of Printing and Packaging which includes printing process, typography and typesetting, theory and working of printing machines, digital electronics, reproduction technology, sheet-fed offset technology, flexo, gravure, screen, inkjet, etc. will be taught in details.
