A grand program was organized on the occasion of Engineers Day under the aegis of Institution of Engineers (India) Haryana State Center and Om Sterling Global University, Hisar. OSGU Chancellor Dr. Punit Goyal and Pro Chancellor Dr. Punam Goyal wished everyone a Happy Engineers Day. He said that the 57th Engineers Day is being celebrated with great pomp across the country today. This day is celebrated with the aim of honoring the innovation and new methods of engineers. Along with this, he said that it is a day to remember the hard work of engineers working for the development of the country. This program was scheduled on the objective and theme “Promoting sustainability with engineering solutions by adopting the latest AI-driven technologies”. In the program, Dr. Arun Goyal (Pro and Head Civil Engineering Department, NIT, Kurukshetra) was present as the chief guest and Engineer Omvir Singh (SE, DHBVN, Hisar) was present as the special guest. He explained the importance of Engineers Day in detail to all the teachers and students.
Engineer K.C. Sethi, former Vice President (The Institute of Engineering), who attended the program, introduced the life of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. In this episode, Keynote Speaker Engineer Suraj Sapra, Co-Founder and CSO Merito joined online and addressed everyone present in the program. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. N.P. Kaushik and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Singh Chhillar welcomed and congratulated all the guests. They gave examples related to the life of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and told the students that engineers have an important contribution for any kind of development. Along with this, they highlighted technology and artificial intelligence. Engineer Jitendra Kumar Jain, Mr. Abhinandan Kumar Pandey and Mr. Surendra Bisht from the Institution of Engineers (India) Haryana State Center was honored during the program. The students of the department showed interest in the program and participated in the speech competition. In the last phase of the program, Engineer Rajiv Vasudeva (Chairman IEL, Haryana, State Center) thanked and expressed gratitude to all the engineers and teachers who had come. Assistant Dean of Technology and Engineering Department Dr. Kamal Dhanda and all the teachers of the department contributed significantly to make this program successful.
