Om Medical Centre and Amandeep Hospital organized a free general and gynaecological camp at Om Sterling Global University on Wednesday, October 16. The entire event was led by the University’s Chancellor, Dr. Puneet Goyal, and Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Poonam Goyal. Dr. Goyal, the University’s Chancellor, addressed the Om Medical Centre and Amandeep Hospital authorities attending the camp and wished them all the best. The goal of this camp was to provide free health screenings to teachers, students, and residents in the surrounding area, as well as to raise awareness about people’s health. Dr. N.P. Kaushik, the University’s Vice Chancellor, and Vice Chancellor Rajendra Singh Chhillar encouraged camp attendees and urged them to maintain themselves and their families well.
He stated that organizing such camps will increase people’s awareness of health. Dr Ankita, Dr Yajur, Dr Bhavana, and Dr Sanjay from Amandeep Hospital, as well as Dr Mohit Arora and Dr Monica Swami from Om Medical Center, played vital roles in this camp by assessing everyone’s health and advising them on how to stay healthy. According to gynecologist Dr. Ankita, many women do not care for themselves since they are too busy at work. She encouraged everyone to pay attention to their health. This camp was organized by Dr. Sunaina, Gaurav Bainiwal, and Alka Saini. The Health of Science Department and the University’s Health and Environment Club both contributed significantly to the success of this camp. Deans and officers from various departments at the university joined this program.
