Programme Overview
M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication is two years full time programme offered to the graduates of this field during this programme students are exposed to Advance studies in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and also get the opportunities to work with different media groups so that they may get equipped with all aspects of Journalism.
When it comes to the faculty at the college, it is ensured that the students get the best of education and required training for their profession. The syllabus and essential skills are covered through various curricular and extra-curricular activities which will allow an extrinsic growth of the students.
Programme Objectives
- To explain and define the opportunities for journalists.
- This course is about the exposure to new techniques of reporting, editing, production and broadcast of news.
- It will teach the role of journalists in engaging public into the development process and policy making.
- Meanwhile it will also polish the communication skills which are required to develop proper communication strategies.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum percentage and others criteria for admission will be as per UGC/ Concerned Regulatory Bodies.

For National Students
- Bachelor Degree of 3 Years or its equivalent.
For International Students
- Rule framed by University Grants Commission (UGC) and notified in its website www.ugc.ac.in will be followed for deciding the eligibility and admission of International students to various courses offered in Om Sterling Global University, Hisar.
