Programme Overview
BA in Journalism and Mass Communication at School of Journalism & Mass Communication is a full-time 3-year course that constitutes various aspects of the society like Social, economic, Education, Science, research, Political, Law and Order etc. In this programme students are framed for critical analysis of these aspects using nationally and internationally accepted methodologies that are applicable to media and its sections.
The faculty at the college is dedicated in making the students more capable and active in the field of journalism. The program constitutes various nationally and internationally accepted methodologies that are applicable to media and its sections.
Programme Objectives

B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication course has been designed to offer enrolled students Basic journalistic skills in various mass media, to expose students to recent developments in media issues and media research. B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication course also provides professional familiarity with the various technologies involved in mass media like computer applications, respective software and hardware applied in print, radio, television, internet and such forms of media.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum percentage and others criteria for admission will be as per UGC/ Concerned Regulatory Bodies.

- 10+2 or its equivalent.
For International Students
- Rule framed by University Grants Commission (UGC) and notified in its website www.ugc.ac.in will be followed for deciding the eligibility and admission of International students to various courses offered in Om Sterling Global University, Hisar.
