BA in Journalism and Mass Communication at School of Journalism & Mass Communication is a full-time 3-year course that constitutes various aspects of the society like Social, economic, Education, Science, research, Political, Law and Order etc. In this programme students are framed for critical analysis of these aspects using nationally and internationally accepted methodologies that are applicable to media and its sections.

Programme Objectives

The focus of the course is to nurture socially responsible media professionals, backed with the latest inputs from industry.
To equip students with the knowledge and essential skills required for working in various media organizations.
To instill knowledge and fundamentals of communication to exhibit communication skills essential for various media platforms.
To encourage critical thinking, research aptitude, ethics and social responsibility related to media in the students.

Programme Outcomes
