Programme Objectives

The B.Sc in Hotel Management from the School of Hospitality Management (SHM) is a program offered by OSGU aimed at the following objectives:

Programme Outcomes

What is to be expected as an outcome of the program B. Sc in Hotel Management is that the candidates shall be trained in the hospitality division and will have a thorough understanding of multiple aspects of the hotel industry as well. The program has been prepared for the profession by a expert faculties in every possible way.

Their education will not be limited to the operations and working on the field. The candidates will have their communication, leadership and other interpersonal skills developed as well. Their determination is something that will make them thrive in their careers and contribute to the organization where they have been employed.

The learners/students shall be able to practice and exhibit the in-depth industry integrated operational knowledge, technical skills regarding front office, housekeeping, F&B service and Food production in hospitality industry.

It provides the platform to the learners/ students to become familiar with the practical aspects of the hospitality industry. Presented to them is an avenue to move into hotels, resorts, cruise lines, banquets, hospitals airlines and catering. Academia is also an option open to them as a career. The program will give operational experience in industry through the way of industrial training.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum percentage and others criteria for admission will be as per UGC/ Concerned Regulatory Bodies.

For National Students

  • 10+2 or its equivalent.

For International Students

  • Rule framed by University Grants Commission (UGC) and notified in its website www.ugc.ac.in will be followed for deciding the eligibility and admission of International students to various courses offered in Om Sterling Global University, Hisar.
