Master of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology is a 2-year programme designed to provide in depth knowledge & impart skills for working as an assistant to the consultant Anaesthesiologist as well as to assist in preparation of operation theatre before & during an elective or emergency surgery. The programme is designed as a full-time residency programme with responsibilities in managing the patients. The Post graduate student must take part in seminars, short topic discussions, case discussions, journal club presentations and clinical postings. The Academic training also includes lab work, experimental work and dissertation.

Employment opportunities can be found in hospitals in both private and public sectors as well as in independent healthcare clinics and as well as teaching institutes. Demonstrate ability to make clinical decision (based on evaluation) regarding Operation Theatre technology and Anaesthesia techniques and select appropriate outcome measures based on the comprehensive knowledge of specialty.

This program will help the students with forming a strong base in anaesthesia technology which will equip them with the skills of choosing the right aesthetic that should be given to any patient based on their medical condition. They also gain a good knowledge of the correct equipment that needs to be used and the dosage of the aesthetic that they would be giving. They will be able to prepare project proposal with selected research design and interpret the evaluate outcome measures (using sound data processing techniques and statistical methods). He/she will be able to practice in their specialty area with advanced knowledge and skills.

Minimum percentage and others criteria for admission will be as per UGC/ Concerned Regulatory Bodies.

Candidate must have passed B.AOTT with 50% marks from any recognised university in regular mode.
Admission on basis of entrance exam conducted by respective university.
Compulsory registered member of NCAHP.
Essential Document required: Medical fitness certificate by govt. medical officer at the time of admission

For International Students

Rule framed by University Grants Commission (UGC) and notified in its website www.ugc.ac.in will be followed for deciding the eligibility and admission of International students to various courses offered in Om Sterling Global University, Hisar.
