The School of Legal Studies at OM Sterling Global University, Hisar, successfully organised an insightful expert lecture on “Gender-Sensitive Justice: Supreme Court Guidelines and Judicial Responsibilities” on October 6, 2026. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of gender-sensitive justice, constitutional principles, and the evolving responsibilities of the judiciary in promoting fairness and equality.
The expert lecture was delivered by Mr. Ajay Nain, Advocate-on-Record (AOR), Supreme Court of India, who shared valuable insights into the judicial approach towards gender-sensitive justice, relevant Supreme Court guidelines, and the importance of ensuring equality and justice within the legal system. His address highlighted the role of judicial stakeholders in upholding constitutional values and fostering a fair, inclusive, and sensitive approach to justice.
The programme was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. N. P. Kaushik and Group Executive Coordinator Prof. Dr. Shobhna Poddar. Dr. Neelam Sihag, Associate Dean, School of Legal Studies, also attended the session.
