A nation can get on without trade, business or sports but it can’t survive without agriculture. A major population of India is engaged in agricultural activities. The latest innovations and technology have revolutionized this sector. At the School of Agriculture the students are taught various aspects of the field and prepared for theoretical and practical application of agriculture as a profession and field of research. It is also one of the best agricultural colleges in Haryana and secures very good reputation in North India.
The campus of School of Agriculture, one of the best agriculture college in Haryana, based in Hisar, a lush green area and ideal for the hands-on training for the field. The labs are very well equipped and there are several other facilities that are provided to the students which include a cafeteria, hostels, smart classrooms and other such amenities.
The faculty in the School of Agriculture as a part of OSGU is well-versed to render the available programs to the aspiring agriculturists. The focus is more on the practical training which is main requirement to prepare the students for the profession. I convey my warm greetings and wishes to all. OSGU campus and community is eager to receive our new group of students across India and abroad in School of Agriculture.
As a Dean of Agriculture at Om Sterling Global University, I am very excited to share my belief about the department and eminent faculty members where everyone is dedicated towards their work. We had a goal of new wave of real life experience in academics along with hard work studies.
We restrain students from any malicious behavior and shaping them up as passionate academicians. We have designed the course curriculum exclusively to provide our students exposure to real life situations such as rural work experience modules where students can gain professional knowledge and learn to fight with the combative world.
We have our university tie-ups with many agricultural organizations and industries where students are made to visit and grasp the practical and technical knowledge for their easy placements in future.
I can assure that it is going to be more pleasurable and knowledgeable than students have imagined if they join us here; where they can make their learning enjoyable in the pleasing environment by engrossing themselves into academics and extracurricular activities. We also conduct many cultural and motivational programmes for showcasing their multidimensional talents.

Programmes Offered
M.Sc Agriculture (Agricultural Economics)
This two year post graduate programme in Agricultural Economics is a specialized subject of agriculture that helps participants/students to learn about the complete Economics related to the Agriculture and its developmental activities.
M.Sc Agriculture (Agronomy)
This branch of M.Sc. deals with a much deeper study of different aspects of agriculture. The main courses included in the programme are crop production, improved cultivation practices, water, fertilizer management and modern crop production techniques.
M.Sc Agriculture (Genetics & Plant Breeding)
Genetics and plant breeding is a specialization in this post graduate agriculture programme that focuses on the plant genetics and basics of genetic engineering which can be applied for a better crop yield.
M.Sc Agriculture (Horticulture)
This programme is mainly about the plantation and cultivation of different kinds of plants. It emphasizes on large scale cultivation of vegetable plants, fruits, bushes and shrubs, or even gardens and green houses.
