Report
An industrial visit was organized by Om Sterling Global University (OSGU), Hisar, for the students of the School of Engineering & Technology (SET) to Sopra Steria, Noida a leading global information technology and consulting company. The visit was conducted as part of experiential learning to bridge classroom knowledge with real-world software industry practices.

The university transport (Bus No. HR39F 1846, driven by Mr. Jagdish) departed from OSGU campus at 4:00 AM, and the scheduled reporting time at Sopra Steria was 10:00 AM.
The industrial visit to Sopra Steria, Noida on November 27, 2025, offered students from Om Sterling Global University practical exposure to real-world software development practices. Students learned about Agile methodology, SDLC, DevOps, cloud computing, software testing, and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Selenium, and Postman. They also observed professional coding environments using Java, Python, SQL, and modern IDEs.
The sessions enhanced their understanding of industry expectations, workflow, automation, and teamwork. The visit strengthened technical knowledge, career awareness, and confidence, making it a valuable learning experience aligned with academic and industry requirements.
