Prithvi Yadav Horticulture Fruit Nursery and Organic Fruit and Vegetable Plantation Field located in Adampur, Hisar, and Haryana. it is an hands-on experience and practical knowledgecentre  about organic farming, horticultural practices, and various organic nutrition applications. They allow students to directly interact with professionals in the field and observe best practices related to organic fruit and vegetable cultivation.

Objectives of the Visit

The main objectives of the field trip were:

  1. To understand the principles of organic farming and horticulture.
  2. To learn about the application of organic procedures such as Panchamruth and other natural farming practices.
  3. To observe the processes involved in maintaining a fruit nursery and plantation field.
  4. To gain insights into the challenges and benefits of organic agriculture.
  5. To explore sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices for fruit and vegetable cultivation.

Report

On 12th November 2025, a group of 55 students from the BSc Hons. Agriculture program embarked on a field trip to the Prithvi Yadav Horticulture Fruit Nursery and Organic Fruit and Vegetable Plantation Field located in Adampur, Hisar, and Haryana. The purpose of this visit was to provide the students with hands-on experience and practical knowledge about organic farming, horticultural practices, and various organic nutrition applications. This field trip allowed students to directly interact with professionals in the field and observe best practices related to organic fruit and vegetable cultivation.

Prithvi Yadav Horticulture Fruit Nursery and Organic Fruit and Vegetable Plantation Field proved to be an insightful and educational experience for all the students. It not only provided practical knowledge about organic farming but also gave students a firsthand look at sustainable agricultural practices. The emphasis on traditional organic techniques such as Panchamruth and modern farming practices helped the students understand how to integrate sustainable farming into their future careers
