The Rakhi Garhi known as an ancient archeological site enfolds considerable significance for the students of SSH, SYN and SPF. Dating back to 5000 years old, the civilization has many artifacts and other bronze items discovered in the recent times. There are human skeletons and other valuable belongings put in the Museum. The civilization is currently studied in our History subject. So the students will have a direct insight into their subject by visiting the place.
The industrial visit to Rakhigarhi, located in Hisar district of Haryana, was conducted to provide students with practical exposure to archaeological research, heritage conservation practices, and scientific excavation methods. Rakhigarhi is one of the largest and most prominent sites of the Indus Valley Civilization (Harappan Civilization), dating back to 2600–1900 BCE.
The visit helped students connect classroom learning with real-world applications in archaeology, sociology, anthropology, and heritage management.
