Why M. A. Fine Arts?

The MA Fine Art degree program in OSGU’s School of Architecture and Fine Arts (SAF) facilitate art and ideas across the full range of media, reflecting the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of contemporary arts practice. Intellectual engagement runs through every aspect of the course, and we aim to produce graduates with advanced critical capabilities. You will learn to reflect on and appraise your work in the context of personal influences and current concepts and debates in the wider world of contemporary art.

Learning outcomes

The students will be Demonstrate mastery in aesthetic & cross cultural understanding. The curriculum of painting & materials Studies is designed to provide students with a comprehensive & up to date understanding of their field. The students will be able to use knowledge gained from critique to improve creative work.
